I was just thinking about something like this for 350, except rather than rotating the globe randomly, or to match a section of the site, having it ‘rotate’ (in 45 degree increments or so) with the actual earth, matching the side that’s facing the sun. littlebigdetails: CNN - Globe perspective rotates relevant to the content of the section and randomly on the homepage. /via Koen Claes
